Casuarina cunninghamiana "River She-Oak"

A tall, fast growing tree with fine foliage. It's a hardy native that makes a great windbreak; very commonly planted around Banana and Avocado orchards here in North QLD. For this purpose they are usually planted 1 - 1.5m apart in either one or two rows; it seems close for such a big tree but seems to work well! Best in full or mostly sun.
