Curcuma caesia, also known as Blue or Black Tumeric is a medicinal plant with very high concentration of Curcumin (anti-inflammatory) and is also used for antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. As with any medicinal plant you buy, do your own research before ingesting! It is perennial but can lose it's leaves in winter then sprout back as the weather warms.
