A slender rainforest bush tucker tree that can fit into most suburban gardens. It bears large purple skinned fruit with red flesh that is very sour but great for jams and sauces. The fruit grow in bunches directly off the trunk. They do best if sheltered from strong sun and dry winds. The leaves are large and furry, with pink new growth. Make sure you remember to water them whilst they are young; they are a rainforest plant after all!
