Leptospermum polygalifolium "Jellybush"

Regular price $3.80 $0.00 Unit price per

Native to the east coast of Australia, this is a small to medium sized shrub with little leaves and dainty white flowers, which are great for bees. In fact, "Jellybush Honey" is touted as having the same amount of antimicrobial properties as "Manuka Honey", if not more (Manuka is also a type of Leptospermum). Only growing to 2m tall or so, it will fit into most gardens easily. It definitely prefers full or mostly sun and benefits from regular tip pruning to make it nice and bushy. If you're interested in getting into Jellybush Honey production just send an email or call: I can grow bulk orders of this species quite easily!
